On 7 May 2019 the members of the adult Catholic Action of the parish community Chiesa Madre and San Giovanni met for the blessing and delivery of the cards.

The evangelical style of sharing, of communion and of the circularity that characterizes our Association was touched by hand. An associative life that is expressed first of all in the encounter, through true relationships, sometimes even informal ones, and which values ​​people at all ages.

The Holy Mass was celebrated by our Archpriest don Rosario Sultana, our spiritual assistant. His words said in the homily were very uplifting: “be one thing only because the world believes”. Don Rosario praised our ability and availability of insertion and collaboration in the Community of Parishes. he urged us to become a sign of unity and witness for the whole community, in fact with the brothers of AC in the San Giovanni community we feel we are one big family. The archpriest encouraged us to always be close to our priests, for a constructive collaboration, committing ourselves to overcoming mistrust and mutual difficulties in a spirit of love and fraternity.

After the Eucharistic celebration there was the delivery of the cards and, at the same time, of a bag of seeds that represent the commitment to “generate” which is the slogan of this year’s association. (The seed produces fruit). The evening ended in a pizzeria for a peaceful and friendly sharing.
